How to eliminate the frustration of finding the perfect logo for your band, business, or tee-shirts.

Have you ever searched for a logo designer only to be left feeling let down and frustrated? After reading these tips you will be armed with the skills to seek through the junk and get the logo you've been looking for. Branding is very important to your business image and a business with a second rate logo will be considered second. Regardless of how good you are at the work you do, you will be judged by your first impression. Your logo is usually the first thing people will see when they land on your website or walk by your business so be sure to make a good first impression.

  • How can I find a good logo designer?

You can be referred through word of mouth or type in the keywords related to what you want, when is a keyword search sure and check out some of the artist previous works. You can request a website or blog address displaying the artist demos, you may even ask for a resume. When requesting demos be sure the artist advertising the logos is the one who created the logos. Many times people will outsource the work to another artist and charge you extra money on an arbitrage deal, so ask questions to be sure you're receiving the said artist's work.

  • What if I'm not happy with the work I've received?

Before you ask an artist to create a logo for you, have a clear vision of what you'd like done so when you receive your final product you'll know that you've gotten what you wanted. You don't have to be an artist to know what you'd like your logo to look like, sure you can leave room for the artist to use their creativity just have an idea of what you want. By having a clear understanding of what it is you'd like to have done you can then give the artist a better understanding as to what you need your brand to look like. Also make sure the artist is willing to do revisions until you both have reached the desired outcome and you're happy.

  • How do I know I've gotten a good deal?

Pricing is often a matter of preference, the buyer will sometimes feel if they pay too little that they won't get quality work. This can be true in some cases because you do get what you pay for, many artists use expensive programs to design your logo and you must also take in consideration that they must be paid for their time. Be sure to ask about pricing and reach an agreement before the work commences. The amount you will pay will depend on the type of logo you want and the amount of time it takes to create your logo, shop around.

In conclusion, you can find the right logo designer for your project by following the tips that are laid out for you. Ask questions relating to who's doing the work, how long will it take to complete the logo, does the artist do revisions and, how much will it cost you. See some of their demos, be sure you have a clear idea as to what you'd like done and relay that idea to the artist before they begin the work. Below are a few samples of my logos so feel free to inquire about my pricing, I can be contacted either through comments or by email. Oh yes, I do revisions.
